Corporate Policy

Arditi S.p.A. designs, manufactures, and markets components for lighting fixtures at its Main Production Site located at Via Caberardi 3, Val Brembilla (BG), and distributes them globally through the Logistics Center at Via A. Locatelli 39/B, Zogno (BG). To achieve these goals, it also utilizes a network of relationships with other controlled/affiliated companies in Albania, China, Egypt, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, and India.

Organization Activities:
The organization’s activities involve the design, production, and sale of:

Incandescent lamp holders;
Halogen lamp holders;
Electrical cables, plugs, and switches for domestic use;
Wiring for powering lamps with plugs and switches;
Suspensions;
Power supplies, dimmers, controllers, and electronic components for LED technology.


Mission:
Arditi S.p.A.’s mission is to consolidate its reference position within the traditional lighting market and seize opportunities from new technologies related to electronics, both in the decorative and industrial, public, and street sectors. The company aims to achieve these objectives through the expertise and passion of all employees, transferring the values of the Arditi Family into a high-level Organizational Structure. The technical expertise provided to customers for new project development, the ability to offer innovative and eco-sustainable products, product and service quality, and compliance with related regulations are elements that the Organization believes can distinguish it in the market.

Quality:
In accordance with ISO 9001 standards, Arditi S.p.A.’s goal is to fully satisfy the implicit and explicit needs and expectations of internal (owners, managers, employees) and external (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, financiers, end consumers, community) stakeholders. Through risk and opportunity analysis, the company aims to enhance its market credibility, generating trust in its ability to regularly supply compliant, innovative, eco-sustainable, and competitive products. Arditi S.p.A. is also focused on continuous improvement, aiming to optimize business processes to reduce waste of means and resources where possible.

Environment:
Arditi S.p.A. considers it important that its activities and those of the external companies with which it collaborates (affiliates/suppliers/subcontractors) are conducted in an environmentally respectful manner, minimizing their impacts, sources of pollution, chemical management, and waste reduction and proper management. To this end, it is committed to continuously improving its environmental performance, facilitated by the application of an effective Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.

Supply Chain Security:
According to ISO 28000 standards, Arditi S.p.A.’s goal is to meet the supply chain security requirements at the main site in Val Brembilla and the logistics center in Zogno, as indicated by the standard itself, and the implicit and explicit expectations of internal and external stakeholders. Through risk and opportunity analysis, the company aims to enhance its market credibility, generating trust in its ability to ensure the continuity and reliability of its supplies. Arditi S.p.A. is focused on continuous improvement, identifying security objectives to pursue and continuously evaluating compliance with defined procedures to provide greater security and integrity guarantees for goods and their logistics units.

Energy:
In accordance with ISO 50001 standards, Arditi S.p.A., during its production activities, commits with its Energy Management System (SGE) to pursuing the objective of rational energy use and constantly increasing energy efficiency levels, while maintaining the production and quality objectives set by the Quality Policy and environmental sustainability goals set by the Environmental Policy, to which this Energy Policy is integrated. The company’s management considers the Management System a process of continuous improvement that starts with the highest priority from the management itself, which commits to providing the necessary human and instrumental resources. It thus approves the formation of an Energy Management Team (GGE) and appoints a representative responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the SGE.

Social Responsibility:
The Code of Conduct of Arditi S.p.A. requires conducting business and managing company processes, both internal and external, based on principles of honesty, integrity, and transparency, respecting the environment, human rights, working conditions, and the expectations of stakeholders. The company commits to acting in compliance with applicable law and consistently with international standards of conduct and the provisions contained in ISO 26000, which inspire the IWAY and ICS Standards. Therefore, Arditi S.p.A. disseminates a code of conduct within and outside its Organization that promotes the following practices:

Child and Minor Labor: In compliance with national and international regulations supporting the protection and development of the child’s physical and mental well-being, Arditi S.p.A. does not employ child workers nor support the use of child labor. If the erroneous presence of minors under 16 is found, the company will take appropriate support and recovery actions for the involved minor. The company favors the inclusion of minor students exclusively through school-work alternation paths, respecting the protection and right to study of the young person.

Forced and Compulsory Labor: The company does not resort to or support any form of forced or compulsory labor in accordance with ILO Convention 29. Personnel are free to perform work according to agreed terms and conditions under the reference National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL). In compliance with Privacy Law, no identity documents are required at the start of the employment relationship or other forms of deposit or withholding part of the salary to extort work performance.

Occupational Health and Safety: In compliance with national laws and the definitions in its Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems, Arditi S.p.A. ensures a safe and healthy working environment. Specifically referring to its Risk Assessment document and internal procedures to prevent potential workplace accidents, the company has implemented all suitable measures to mitigate potential risk causes. The Prevention and Protection Service oversees applying safety procedures during work activities and in emergencies, ensuring the application of management and evacuation procedures. Training programs on health and safety are guaranteed for all Arditi S.p.A. personnel as required by Legislative Decree 81/08 and the State-Regions Agreement of December 21, 2011.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: The company ensures the right of workers to form, join, and organize unions without any form of retaliation or discrimination against union representatives. Additionally, Arditi S.p.A. provides means and spaces for communication with workers to ensure collective bargaining and actively promotes second-level corporate bargaining.

Discrimination: Arditi S.p.A. does not support any form of discrimination based on race, religion, gender identity, marital or maternal status, age, political affiliation, nationality, physical ability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or any other expression of discrimination. These guarantees apply throughout the employment process, from personnel selection, hiring, access to training, promotions, dismissal, or retirement.

Behavioral Rules: The company guarantees and imposes behavioral rules that ensure respectful behavior and language towards the individual dignity of each person. Arditi S.p.A. prohibits any form of harassment, abuse, corporal punishment, threat of violence, or other forms of mental or physical coercion and does not resort to public reprimand or punishment practices.

Alcohol and Drugs: Arditi S.p.A. is committed to combating any form of dependency. Specifically, during work activities, the company prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages, drugs, or similar substances. Furthermore, it recommends that, consistently with the principle of worker safety prevention and protection, employees avoid consuming these substances even outside working hours if the effects may persist during the subsequent work performance.

Working Hours and Remuneration: Arditi S.p.A. supports the economic recognition of its human resources in accordance with the regulations governing company negotiation, such as national labor contracts, second-level company bargaining, and union agreements. The company ensures an extensive application of the principles established by current regulations, including working hours, remuneration levels, vacation regulation, rest breaks, and overtime.
Corporate Ethics
Arditi S.p.A.’s behaviors are inspired by the rejection of corruption in all its forms. Commercial relationships and those with Public Administration are managed based on principles of fairness and transparency by a limited number of company figures.

The company has identified and implemented measures aimed at preventing corruption and/or illegality within its activities through the Anti-Corruption Plan. Arditi S.p.A. ensures adequate training for individuals involved in the Plan.
The commitments that Arditi S.p.A. has undertaken translate into actions aimed at:

Ensuring that this Policy is disseminated, implemented, and supported at all levels of the organization; actively communicated by its suppliers; made public and accessible to stakeholders;
Defining the organizational structure, resources, documents, and internal procedures for managing, implementing, and recording the requirements and declarations, through the establishment of dedicated company teams for managing different systems;
Involving, raising awareness, and making its collaborators responsible for achieving corporate objectives by enhancing their skills and stimulating professional growth;
Complying with current laws, directives, and regulations concerning workplace safety, environmental safety, and supply chain security, with particular attention to the IWAY specification drafted by IKEA and the ICS standard referenced for Large Distribution;
Committing to continuously eliminating or reducing risks to the safety and health of workers;
Committing to the consultation and participation of workers, including through their union representatives, in managing safety aspects;
Complying with current laws, directives, regulations, and contractual documents, with particular attention to the European RoHS/RAEE Directive and the specific IOS-PRG-027 drafted by IKEA;
Assessing safety risks for its collaborators to prevent the occurrence of accidents and occupational diseases;
Assessing supply chain security risks to mitigate their effects and prevent the occurrence of fraudulent actions (theft, tampering, smuggling, etc.) in regular management, as well as in emergency situations;
Identifying the environmental aspects of its processes to contain negative environmental impacts and identify virtuous behaviors;
Ensuring maximum product safety;
Achieving an increasing level of quality through defect prevention, continuous improvement research, and investment in innovation;
Collaborating with customers and suppliers for shared business development;
Measuring the adequacy of business processes and identifying potential improvement interventions;
Periodically reviewing the Policy and documentation, considering legislative changes, changes in codes of conduct, changes in the organization’s corporate scope (acquisitions, mergers, incorporations, etc.), and the results obtained, so that it integrates with its organization and Management Systems;
Continuously monitoring company energy consumption, primarily electrical consumption, which represents the main vector, to promptly highlight and minimize waste, over-consumptions, and therefore maintenance needs;
Enhancing the performance of the main production lines (thermoplastic, assembly, cable production) and compressed air, through the monitoring of specific EnPI that link consumption and production of these three energy-intensive sectors, in terms of energy consumption related to production indicators, evaluating and documenting annually the achievement level and related implementation programs;
Considering the energy component in the purchase of new machinery and in sourcing energy, preferring the use of renewable sources;
Ensuring the physical safety of goods and their logistics units, as well as the sites included in the application field, including their accesses;
Evaluating the reliability and professionalism of the personnel.
